Things to do in Miraflores (Part 1) 본문
Lima is the only capital of South America privileged for its exit to the Pacific Ocean, where you can enjoy an impressive view of the sea from the cliff on Miraflores.
The district of Miraflores is one of the forty-three that establish the province of Lima located in the department of Lima in Peru. You can do many activities such as surfing, biking, and paragliding alone or with family and friends.
Take a magical walk through its beautiful parks and boardwalks
1. Park of Love
Enjoy a magical walk, rest on its walls and enjoy the unbeatable view of the sea. Here you will be able to appreciate the famous sculpture "El Beso", the work of the artist Víctor Delfín.
2. Maria Reiche Park
Not only will you enjoy an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean, but you will also be able to observe some of the most representative figures of the Nazca culture on the lawn. This place was born as a tribute to the German researcher María Reiche.
3. Raimondi Park
It is located near the Malecón Cisneros, and its attractions include a labyrinth formed by various bushes, excellent viewpoints overlooking the beach circuit, and various children's games. The park was reopened in 2005 and is ideal for cycling or paragliding.
4. Salazar Park
It is located between the Malecón de la Reserva and Armendariz Avenue and pays tribute to aviator Alfredo Salazar Southwell, who prevented his plane from falling on the downtown area of the district. The park stands out for its spectacular view of the sea and beautiful sculptures.
5. Kennedy Park
One of the must-see stops in the district. Known -even by tourists- as the ‘cat park’, since it houses a large number of these cute animals.
